Sweat N Swap

ARE YOU MOTIVATED?

MOTIVATED MOTIVATED DOWN RIGHT MOTIVATED
WHOOO
HAAAA
WE'RE GONNA ROCK SOMEBODY
SAY - YOU CHECK US OUT
YOU CHECK US OUT
YOU CHECK US OUT
oooOOOOOOOOOH
WE'RE LOCKED AND COCKED AND READY TO ROCK DRILL SERGEANT!

Howdy Losers! How's it hanging? Are you hanging? It is awesomely motivating to see how many pounds are falling off you all. That HAS to feel good.

Are you getting bored with your workouts? Dragging your feet at popping in that DVD? Too predicable? That happens...sometimes we hit a plateau and need to switch things up to jump start ourselves again (or just buy a DVD we end up not liking).

I had an idea. I don't have all the details worked out yet but I thought I would run it by the LIB followers and see what you think about it. I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a Sweat N Swap...by that I mean exchange workout videos with other LIB followers. The only cost involved would be the shipping and really that would be minimal. Those small bubbly envelopes at WallyWorld are usually less than a dollar and the shipping of  said envelope with a DVD would surely be $2 or less, unless you're in Japan or something. So for a miniscule investment we could swap around our workout videos that we've become complacent with.

I'm leaning towards just starting a section in the side bar with emails of those who have videos they would like to trade. I'm not very technical so I'm not quite sure the best way to link the video holder up with the video wanter....I'm still hammering those ideas out. Since my brain is still suffering the effects of a failed Cootie shot (which means that I've been ill for about 12 days now), I thought it best to knock put some other heads together on this. Surely there are some smurt cookies out thar!

Whatcha think?

Interested?

Stupid Idea?

Cool but not really practical??

Lay it on me - I can take it...I am a duck afterall...

I'm stuck on a nasty plateau and have not lost a pound in over a week. I have not gained either but I'm really really stuck. I don't have any videos though. I just have the bike, treadmill and the Wii of course (LOVE IT)

But this is a really great idea!

That is a great idea. Also, check out SwapTree and if anyone is a Netflix subscriber they have a ton of workout dvds on instant watch.

Well...I think I have one exercise DVD...I think.....and it's still in the package because I've done the Wii or treadmill...but I can see what else I have and maybe I can partake in the swap or just give someone a freebie!! (cuz I'm cool like that!)

I think that's a great idea!! I have just viewed my Susan Powter Motivation DVD that was from 2006. No exercise, just Susan yelling and trying to get us focused, I was thinking of offering it as a give-away on my blog and then that winner could do the same and so on and so on so several of us could view it and get motivated.

Great idea you have here.

I only have one. The evil bitch Jillian's shred.

BUT, I do know that Wally World has many to choose from for $9. That's right only NINE BUCKS!

I think that's a fantastic Idea. I have plenty of work out videos I can share. I love the biggest loser ones the best. Right now I'm using the "Last chance work-out" and it's killer. It's all Jillian too. She really knows how to kick butt!

I use Netflix and made sure I signed up for the 2 movies otu at a time. that way when I return the one I am sick of I can fall back on the one I still have at home. It works out pretty well and I have found a few I really like and go back to.
